"Picasso Head" @2005

I don't know what else to call this 38" redwood sculpture. It has always made me think of Pablo Picasso. The wood was part of a tree in a mudslide that destroyed my friends' bedroom. The roughed out sculpture sat on my deck for years after I removed the termite damage and found the basic shape. It wasn't until this past summer that I found what I was looking for.
